SHE'S COSMIC

Moss on the pavement     do we tell about that?

Soft like doe’s ears, we stroke it and the spinning begins.

The sidewalk between the water and the bench is silent air.

I should have loved a comet instead.

One space, two space,

one two three spheres against each other

thoughts highlighted on metal scraps

shapes like cookies crumble.

They are left there to float and we look at them from the ground.

A selection of intentional an unintentional waves

and whatever is in between.

Saturnine nights,

by the time you see them reflected on water

they’ve been gone for millions of years.

There’s a special place for dune and bog lovers, lovers of outer space.

Like a distant memory,

asters of booming land and air, cartoon skies.
